Looks kind of painful, almost like an exposed wound ...

coffeetears responds:

its supposed to look insanely painful yep! the character is just trying to stay calm and pretend it doesn't hurt/is so used to it they don't even react anymore and look in peace

Love the painting like feel this has. Annnd now I'm hungry~

neurosoma responds:

Thank you so much!

Her raised eyebrows read "Huh, I wonder if hugging the little guy's worth the third degree burns..." XD

FedericoBorrelli responds:

It definitely would be pretty painful, but spoilers, the little dude can fuse with her and the transformation is also pretty painful, I am actually drawing the fusion rn!

Looks so peaceful~

xi-eonling responds:

I am both curious and suspicious of what's in that syringe...

KonanSaurus responds:

A friendly dose of Motherland!

It feels like the image is moving, even though it's not~

SourCherryJack responds:

It is moving though.

Dawe, so cute~!

SupremeKhi responds:

Thank you so much ^^

There's something sad about this, like someone had a a person close to them get turned into a monster... Or this is what it looks like to become obsessed with watching TV. Either way, there's a story here~

coffeetears responds:

it was originally vent art actually! the monster represents a part of myself I have a hard time accepting (mental illness basically) and the girl embracing them was a representation of finally doing so sort of (?) (I'm not good with words sorry hahah)

She has a face that just says "You are beneath me", and is completely right.

zombiemiso responds:

yes❤

I'm an amateur illustrator and character designer. My style is simplistic with clean lines and bright pastel colors, and is inspired by anime, 90s cartoons, and horror. I'm mostly self-taught.
